Leadership & Origins
VarStec Power Solutions brings a disciplined, engineering-first approach to medium-voltage reactive compensation and power quality systems. Its leadership team includes Paul and Peter Steciuk, two highly experienced specialists whose combined expertise spans the design, application, manufacturing, and commissioning of integrated metal-enclosed capacitor banks, harmonic filter banks, surge protection systems, and motor-starting solutions.
Earlier in their careers, Paul and Peter co-founded and spent decades building an engineering and manufacturing company in the power-systems industry, specializing in power quality and reactive power solutions and harmonic filter systems, becoming recognized leaders in the field. That experience gave them firsthand knowledge of developing specialized products, building multidisciplinary engineering teams, establishing manufacturing capabilities, and supporting complex equipment from initial application through long-term operation.
At VarStec, they are applying that depth of experience to a new generation of engineered solutions that reflect current standards, modern switching, control, and protection technologies, and the evolving needs of utility and industrial power systems.
